Next time I need a IR receiver, I'll stay away from Sharp! The only reason i used them was that Radio Shack used to sell the tin can version that I used for my prototypes then I went to the later OPIC version. It was the OPIC version that I had troubles with. Has anyone had experience with the Microchip ones? Or should I say - what brands has anyone had GOOD experience with?
