#84596 - Self-modifying code Responding to: ???'s previous message |

Real programmers write self-modifying code :-D Heheh, tell me about it. I was writing self-modifying code way back in the early 80's on an Atari 8-bit computer. At this time I can't recall why but I distinctly remember it being the only way to accomplish something we wanted to accomplish back then. Or maybe it was because Ultima II used self-modifying code to obfusticate the program that saved the game data and we had to figure it out in order to give ourselves unlimited gold pieces? I really don't remember. But self-modifying code is fun. :) Regards, Craig Steiner |
