#85426 - Reasons for using 8255 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Most of you will be surprised by the fact that inspite of all the experienced persons crying hoarse to not use 8255 most of the newbie guys(particularly indians ) are using 8255.Reasons are they are taught or asked to interface 8255 during praticals as well as most of the development board they work on have this chip.SO they are following the natural course.Even i used 8255 for port expansion but then discarded it when i joined as well as read the messages in this forum.
