I think that most of the concepts are the same but maybe extra peripherals or features will be added .So i am not against teaching 8085 or 8051 .But most of the college do not teach the concepts and so students end mugging it upwithout understanding.I know a college who spend 9000 bucks for a 8051 development kit and you have to enter the code using a keyboard interfaced to the board.So even now this idiotic methods exists which is depressing.(And yes you guessed it right it has a 8255).
