but without setting the bits with the correct timing on e.g. P1.1 could i use PCON and SCON (which already has timings) instead ?
As "the bible" clearly states SCON and the SMOD bit in PCON refer to the UART. As "the bible" clearly states, the UART work on Txd and Rxd (P3.0 and P3.1) PLEASE read the bible instaed of going out on a wild goose chase. Erik |
