Knowing (1), we can now look at the datasheet and find the answer to (2) - which you had also failed so far to specify!

It requires a TTL input. That is all that there is to it.

Right - so it's a simple "keyed" transmitter: applying a TTL '1' to the input turns the transmitter ON; applying '0' turns it off.
So the UART's asynchronous output should be fine to drive it[1].
Which takes us right back to my very first question: Why not use the 8051 UART?




[1] Whether the resulting signal output form the receiver module will reliably drive a UART is harder to say, due to the vagaries of RF transmission...
