I had a quick read of the lcd tutorial - one thing that bothers me is setting/clear the RS signal whilst EN is active. Methinks that violates the setup requirement for RS vs EN. I don't have the driver specs handy, so I can't say for sure.
Normally I would set/reset R/W and RS BEFORE activating EN. Does someone else want to verify this? |
