I tried your code in ISIS SP5 and it didnt work here either. I dont even see the busy flag become high although it does say "Received command whilst busy" Atleast activate trace (By TRACE=1) in the LCD so you can see more of whats going on. I would switch over to delays for now, brightside is delays wont "hang" your program when P1.7 doesnt get low for some reason. Downside is delays differ from display to display. I see that none of the sample programs use status polling either.. Maybe for a good (easy way out) reason :-( |
