#89273 - Craig, you are not the only one Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have seen, who knows how many, datasheets for LCD panels. On at least 2 occsions following the datasheet gave non-working code. It seems that some of the low cost manufactureres use a "low cost person" with a "low cost editor" to merge the data from the driver chip with the panel datasheet. I tend to recall that by close examination I actually had reason to believe that it was not cut-and-paste but retyped into the panel datasheet. Somewhere I still have a faded thermal copy of the one panel datasheet I used in those days regardless of the manaufacturer of tyhe actual panel.
So, Craig, you are not the only one. Erik |
