The language that an OS is written in is irrelevant to the user; eg, Windows is written in 'C', but that is irrelevant to application writers. You just use the language of your choice (BASIC, Pascal, C, C++, Java, CoBOL, ...) and make the appropriate API calls as described in the documentation. |
