#89619 - very high data rates??
Responding to: ???'s previous message
"very high data rate"

Whats ur definition of "very high data rates" ?
How will u determine this factor?

Suppose i've to take 8000 to 10000 samples/second of some signal and give it to micro. using I2C and this is almost continuous operation, say some process monitoring/control, whats better hardware/software I2C ?

What exactly is difference between them?
not just that h/w has 2pins of SDA and SCL ?
Exactly how it affects performance and why?

Does it only save initialization process or something more than that ?

regards,
Neil.
