#90580 - Know your tools Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Neil Kurzman said:
ANSI say chars variables get promoted to ints In the absence of any context that statement is complete nonsense. Keil Must do this to adertise that it is ANSI standard. But, there is an option to turn this off. Keil's treatment of char variables is not ANSI compliant in all situations even with it turned on. I don't know what your expectations of this feature actually are, but I am sure that if you read the documentation describing it you will be surprised. for maximum performance, Know your tools. Yeah, quite. |
