Equally depressing is the number of chips I have with a screwed up boot vector before I knew about NoTouch.
Often, your friendly local Philips FAE or a FAE at your distributor, will program "nothing" and the vector in his/her parallel programmer for you after you have stated "never more, I have seen the light". Understandably many will be reluctant to do this service if they expect you to come running twice a week.
