#92058 - Thought about an EEPROM but...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I have thought about a serial EEPROM but the only problem is that i have alot of data being stored, over a run of time. To give an example I am storing about 10-20 Kb of data per hour so a small EEPROM would fill up very fast in my application. That is the reason I choose to go with CompactFlash. I should of mentioned in my first post that even tho the blocks of data are small its on a regular schedual that the data is being written. So over time it grows greatly.
