This is exactly what i do:
Rx: JNB RI,Rx Mov P2,SBUF CLR RI RET I had tried receiving 2 characters.. both are being received wrong. I get _y instead of OK irespective of the baud rate/ irrespective of whether i use pooling or interrupts! I had another doubt : I have connected the Rx pin on '51 to PC's COM port to monitor what is being received by the '51 .. i see something strange I receive the following on my Hyperterminal AT OK whereas the response is only OK ..even AT is being echoed on the Hyperterminal. Mind you the connections to the PC is only Rx of '51 going to Tx of COM and Gnd .. i am not monitoring what is being transmitted .. so why does AT appear on the hyperterminal? |
