Thanks for the explanation Michael. Its informative. I totally agree that for multiprocessor, its better to use 485 or 422.
If I had to use additional hardware to convert to 485 protocol, the UART Automatic Address Recognition feature would not be useful. I can directly address the 485 driver instead. I had read through the Intel Enhanced App note. its not clear either. Do I really need the 485 transceiver? Desperate than ever, Ow |
