You can not drive 100 chips from 1. the Fan out, and capaitance is to great. You Need buffers.

Not the TX line is not Hi-Z.

If you connect the TXs to getther and several chips talk. they will most likly just get warm. they can not sink that much current, and can source even less.

Read the data sheet. It ain't gonna work.
