Are you arguing for or against SMS? TV == television //Capitalisation shows it is an abbreviation r == are //No capitalisation - what is it? 2 == to //No common character - what is it? 2 == two //Correct! When you see '2' written down you are obviously going to think it means 'two', for the simple reason that that IS what it means. It's just plain stupid to use it in any other context. Do people who use this SMS nonsense not realise that it makes them look completely stupid to the entire English speaking world who are over the age of 12? |
