Perhaps this thread isn't quite so useless as it might appear at first glance. The fact is that every so often new people come along and need to go through a rehashing of the issue of SMS. I personally think it is well worthwhile to ensure that those for whom English is not a first language are not inadvertently excluded from the forum because they don't pronounce 'y' correctly.

And there is another reason to be vigilant about the use of SMS, descriptive subjects, and the other rules of the forum. These rules work to ensure that these threads are useful, searchable, compillations.

But the very best reason to have this thread is that it provided you a place for your last post ;-). Imagine how silly you'd have looked if you had posted your observation under a thread discussing how to calculate the necessary reload values for a given baud rate, or the inner workings of an autobaud routine. ;-)
