I think Ragu pointed out there are certainly dozens, if not hundreds of "Indian" languages. I definitely cannot name more than 20 Indian languages/ dialects and I doubt most of us can go beyond 30. Actually there aren't many languages, most are dialects. Not counting the Cherokee, Comanche, Shawnee.., who North-West Indians, the folks from Barbados who are West Indians, the people from Malayasia, Indonesia who are East Indians and last but not the least the Siliconians in Silicon Valley who are Non Resident Indians. |
