#95941 - nobody's moaning ... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Price and availability are an issue with parts on which the ink is dry.
If the quantity is small, I'd recommend a cheap 5-volt part, e.g. EPM7128SLC84, which, though big, 84 pins, is adequate, 5-volts, and easy to program, handle and socket. Last time I bought these, they cost me less than $2 on eBay, they're JTAG programmable, and 10 or 7 ns parts are avaiable almost all the time. I've never seen Lattice parts on eBay, or, for that matter, anywhere else for anywhere near that cost. If you're going to production, that's a different issue, but I'd really question whether the original query came from someone headed for production. In a case like that, the bigger MCU's with lots of I/O on board might be a better choice. RE |
