I think its a very interesting idea - but first things first. I'm still not having any luck. The INT freezes the system...
...I'm wondering if its got something to do with the way I program the uC serially. I'm going to check into that later tonight, but I'm wondering if its possible that opening the serial port is triggering the uC to enter programming mode. If I recalled from the way I put it together, the DTR line on the serial port triggers the gates of the 74241, it may very well be that sending this data is causing this to fail in that regard. If that is the case, I may have to make some changes, or even add another max232 to use a different serial port. |
