I had tried sending just one piece of data. It does seem to shake ever so slightly, but it is not very much. The PWM is being create in software using a DNJZ loop from 255 so its in the PWM cycle quite awhile. I wouldn't think that taking the byte from SBUF (when the RI1 flag is set) and converting it to binary would take overly large amounts of time. Nonetheless, I am looking into other solutions as we speak. I just received some 89c430s, 440s, and 450s from Maxim, I've got some other chips coming that do have PWM support built in. What I'm using right now with the 420 is hard soldered, so I'm stuck with it at the moment. I ordered the SBC board from here so when Craig gets back from Mexico he's going to send it to me, I'll be sure and socket the main processor just in case. |
