I dunno if anyone has ever tried messing with the sort of acid that everyone says makes it 'easy' to unlock the lock bits but I can tell you it is seriously nasty stuff, you are lucky if you dont end up with burns and or poisoning from the fumes even with protective gear. I very much doubt that people do unlock your code using these methods, but if people have ripped your code off then the solution is to use some encryption even if you perform the decryption in software using some well protected keys. Also obsfication of the code is a useful method of stopping people from readily using your individual routines if they dont copy it wholesale. There are sources on t'interweb about how to make code difficult to hack. |
