If 2 consecutive input latches have only 1 bit set and those bits are on the same place, how would you distinguish them? P2 would not change...

What kind of strobe would you recommend?
I plan to write data to the 8 data Pins of the Parllel port. Would you suggest using other Pins for strobing?
