#119382 - Series Resistors
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I would have to agree with Pramod Joglekar and Girish Ghanekar on the use of the "current limiting" resistors. The idea is to get a faster rise time in the current by using a higher voltage, but you are just cancelling out the gain by putting resistors in, other that the current sensing resistors, which should be as small as possible and be rated at a high enough wattage. From there you set your Vref voltage = sense resistor value times desired current/phase (2 Amps or less).

Can you post your schmatic?

Jon

PS. Don't give up, once it's running right, that will be a big step (pun) in the right direction.
