#120244 - reset
Responding to: ???'s previous message
is there any way to differentiate the reset condition that occurs.i mean if the processor resets after a watchdog overflow or after a hardware reset pulse.some flag is set or something like that.
i want to illuminate a led after there was a reset due to watch dog timer overflow.the watchdog may be internal or external.i read datasheets of max 1232 and max 707 but cant find anything .
is there any watchdog timer i can connect to the processor which resets the microcontroller but changes the state of some pin of its own and remains so till the watchdog timer is reset even if the strobe input continues to pulse between low and high .
please help.
