1. He uses a very fast 74LVC244 showing very steep egdes at output (at89S52 alone is also fast enough to give steep edges)

2. He uses a 1m long cable, which is a universe with such chips

3. He does not use any series termination

4. He does not use grounded wires between the signal lines

5. He states it's 100%-ly working
