#122143 - Consider this...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Ashwin V,

Has it occurred to you, perhaps based on simple arithmetic, that there are no such pins, or, perhaps, that someone didn't know what their standard names are and simply guessed? Simple arithmetic will show that there are no undefined pins in the list I provided. The most elementary comparison of pin numbers, had you been willing even to think for a millisecond, would have answered your questions.

There are gigabytes of information about the parallel port on a PC available via Google. You could, had you been sufficiently interested in doing any part of the thinking and providing any part of the effort in this task yourself, have examined one of the 16,500,000 hits that Google provides with respect to PC Parallel Port. The people who provided your initial information apparently weren't, else they'd have had the standard names.

Have you read any of the datasheets? Have you read any of the posts to your initial query? Have you followed any of the links?

I think not! I believe you expect someone else not only to do your thinking for you. Why is that? Haven't you yet learned to think for yourself?
