Sure, it is possible to design CMOS circuits that run very fast, but the mere fact that a chip uses CMOS technology does not mean that it has been designed to run at any particular speed. Perhaps an everyday example will help you to understand this: Today's technology is capable of making racing cars that run at speeds of hundreds of miles per hour. That technology is also used in everyday production cars - but this does not mean that your average family car will do 150mph!! :-0 |
