Sorry, but both of you fight like crazy.
If you'd simply forget your own professional interests, and try to look at the '51 and similar small to medium embedded world - please, admit, there is not such a _wide_ range of applications for parallel interfacing any more.

As engineering generally, also this discussion needs just a little balance and quite a few compromises... :-)
