not being a nittpicker, I would like to point out that what you refer to as baud rate should probably called be bit rate.
Baud rate is more appropriate if refering to a data transfer by means of a modulated signal. One "change" per second in the modulation is one Baud, as one can transfer more than one bit per state change on the line, the bitrate can exceed the baud rate... regards Patrick |
