#132685 - I strongly disagree Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have worked with many large companies who have lost their source code. Companies downsize, divisions are purchased, etc., and eventually the source code is lost. You wind up with manufacturing programming parts with binaries, but no one has any idea where the source is.
They all have official ISO9001 policies for documentation, but in reality, the code is lost. Disassembly is the only path for software maintenance. |
