#135325 - yes, you have stated \"in the same enclosure\"
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Now can we use a tX line of master connected to RX line of slaves to work as a serial communication line without a max232...?
yes, you have stated "in the same enclosure" thus, if you 'balance' speed and distance, you can.
If this is a 'card cage' with 'wild wires' connecting the card sockets, the speed will not be dramatic, but you have never stated how fast you need to go. In such a scenario, I think the comm speed will be the least of your worries.
If the master and slave are on the same boards or the slaves on daughterboards and the master the 'mother' 115k would not surprise me, but in a card cage maybe, in direct connection, you will have to live with 9600, but again the comm speed will be the least of your worries. Now, if you have a well designed card cage (card sockects on a PCB with all traces direct) you will be somewhere in-between.
