I try to help people where I can. And that isn't often since I am not the consummate µcontroller guru that others on this forum are. But when I try to help someone, and all they have to say is, "Yes, yes. But I don't want to know why my question is nonsensical. I just want a formula," I just have to get a little bit crazy!

Five points cross my mind:

1. Do the contributing for your own amusement, instead of expecting to be able to change anybody or anything, because this is entirely beyond your control.

2. The only thing you can do here is to "offer" and to "set a good example". What others do is entirely beyond your control.

3. Do not only think of the OP when posting, but think of the dozens others who also read your posts. To be perfectly honest, I haven't stored a copy of this Philips' application note in my user space actually for Mike, but for those who are really interested in and will appreciate it.

4. Don't forget, that what nearly drives you crazy is what finally made you a successful professional! What, if Mike isn't able at all to see what you see, if it is just beyond his capabilities, if he cannot be helped? Long live the difference...

5. Keep in mind, that your wonderful english is an enrichement for this forum, no matter what you write.
