#135997 - When in doubt, leave it out ... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
With the small load on your MCU, I doubt it would help anything to add additional circuitry.
Until you have a completely functional circuit based simply on the 80C51/(actually used as )80C31 With as simple a circuit as you proposed earlier, Adding components will not help you solve your problem. If I recall correctly, you have a small SRAM, a 256Kx8 EEPROM, and an MCU, an address latch, a single gate-pack, by means of which you "de Morganize" your memory map, and nothing more, in your 805x application circuit. If the signals are correctly wired, the supply is correct and adequate, and an appropriate oscillator is applied to the MCU, it should function, provided there's some proper code in the EEPROM. If it doesn't, you probably need to find out why before you add any further complexity. RE |
