#136080 - Misconceptions Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Mike Stegmaier said:
I bet anything that me using my wire jumpers that I obtain from cutting resistor and inductor leads in earlier circuits don't conduct electricity well That bet will make you a very poor man! The resistance will be insignificant to logic signals. The resistance of these wires will be no more than the resistance of a corresponding length of PCB track - and possibly less. the less jumpers I have, the easier it is to troubleshoot. Nonsense. In fact, as Lynn noted, wire jumpers can make trouble shooting easier by being convenient test points! Adding additional redundant chips will certainly not make trouble shooting easier! |
