Hi Erik,

A WIRE IS NOT A WIRE it is inductors and capacitors.


Actually, when you get up to high frequency (frequency = dv/dt), all passive components become some combination of LCR. Resistors, capacitors, inductors, and (as you just pointed out) wires all become little completx LCR circuits in and of themselves. Understanding this is crucial to developing hi frequency circuits.
