The information needed for the source level debugging is found in the .lst file - that's the only file the assembler produces besides the .hex file. I will also add an another one which uses it: I have the Ramtron (ex-Goal) Versa kit (it contains the '51 with the builtin FRAM), which has JTAG debug built in, too. They claimed Metalink assembler support, too, but it took them 5 more issues of the software to do so. Erik Malund said:
