#144373 - chip select A &B
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I'm assuming you're talking about a graphic LCD with a KS0108 controller. These units have two chip selects as a 128 * 64 graphic lcd has two controllers - one for each half.

So, before asking another question, please state what display you're referring to and add a link to the datasheet. Also, have a read of the datasheet as this will answer most of your questions. Also, if you'd read Michael Karas' stuff, it too may have answered your question and many more.

There are a number of graphic lcds available all with differences - don't assume they're all the same.

A trip to Sim Lim tower (or is it Sim Lim square??) should enable you to source possible displays - but be sure to check out the availability of data first and review it before making a purchase.

You can also interface to a few displays from Nokia and other phones. These are usually 3v and interface via SPI. www.sparkfun.com have some color ones and sample code - these displays are easily got from many phone part suppliers in Singapore. See also www.jelu.se - they have info on the Nokia 3310 monochrome and the 6610 color displays.
