#144448 - to find out
Responding to: ???'s previous message
is there any other significant difference 4 and 8 bits ?

Have a look at the datasheet for e.g. an Optrex character LCD. The Optrex LCDs can operate in both modes and a quick read of the datasheet will give you the differences.

Now you are going to say "why look at a datasheet for a character LCD when I want to use GLCD" the answer is "you will learn something"

You ask for us to pick a GLCD for you. If you want that, you need to post the following
1) resolution requirements
2) at least 100 words about the application
3) a list of GLCDs available in your area and links to the datasheets
4) whether you have 5V available in addition to 3V3
5) some words about the level of your programming skills
6) some words about the frequency of changing the display
7) anything else you can think of that would affect the choice
8) when you have done that, you will - even without posting - know which display to use.
