If you want to use an Graphical LCD, is very simple soure of them an old unused cellphone:)
Well known application is use a Graphical LCD from Nokia 3310. for example: http://free-vz.htnet.hr/Ivica-Nov...ar-eng.htm or http://www.scienceprog.com/connect-n...-lpt-port/ It is very simply to connect an use serial interface to connection with uPC SCK, SDIN, SCE. on this LCD work a controler PCD8544 - http://www.scienceprog.com/wp-conten...cd8544.pdf. And now you can have a Text and Graphics on one simple LCD:) |
