#144671 - According to the datasheet... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
According to the data on the powertip pc0802a device, it has cgram.
Most character lcds are based on the Hitachi hd44780 or variant controller ic - so the feature set is the same. So rather than ask us questions that can be simply answered by reading the datasheet, why do you not get your feet wet and try something? Actually using the device should answer most of your questions. Then you can decide whether the character based lcd is adequate for your task or whether you need a graphic lcd. At the very minimum you'll be able to demonstrate to your teachers that you attempted something. |
