I have used RS485 many times including the Galvanic isolation.The problem with this project is it has a very small communication distance and I feel RS485 is an Over kill, moreover can RS485 work well for small distances of few feet?. But anyways that wouldnt be a low cost solution .
Actually I have a main board for measurement and its display board few feet away, and the project cost has to be as low as possible. APC |
