#147362 - master slave 8052 configuration |
I am using the AT89LP4052 in a new design. Was planning to design a master that communicates with six slaves which will be located 6' away from the master. wanted to use the four serial pins SCK, MISO, MOSI, and SS<not> pins because the slave's RS232 is assigned to other tasks. The master would enable a slave through the SS pin then send and receive data from that slave. Everything will run off of 3.3 VDC.
My problem is I can't seem to find a IC that will buffer the data to and from (and is bidirectional) and will work at 3.3 VDC. I also have 12 VDC and 5 VDC available on each board so a level translation to the higher voltage along the 6' data cable would also be a plus and provide me some additional ESD protection. Does anybody have a solution to this problem? |
