By using RS485 transmitters and receivers, you get differential signalling which will give you noise resistance. NO, I am NOT saying use RS485, just use the chips to get differential signalling. If this is a very (electrically) quiet environment, you may get by with buffer/drivers for output and schmitts as input. Erik |
