The Master controls the Clock. Data out is to the slaves. Data In is data from the slaves. Each salve gets its own chip select.
The master tells the slave what is wants, then sends the clocks to get it back. You maybe better off using RS-485 for communication, and BIT bang a slow buad rate to talk to the display (especially if you are only talking to it). |
