Which derivative that you routinely use has 128KB of external read/write memory?

Do not change horses in the middle of the stream, this thread is about FLASH, not read/write memory. Thus my statement re using external memory was staying within the subject of the thread and referred to flash memoy.

If you have loss of "read/write" on power off, I am not surprised.
