#159473 - yet more extrapolations/flame baits Responding to: ???'s previous message |
"Yes I know: that that you never know what int means in C, is a feature, not an error." Have a look at §7.18 in the C standard. "The typedef name intN_t designates a signed integer type with width N, no padding bits, and a two’s complement representation. Thus, int8_t denotes a signed integer type with a width of exactly 8 bits." I wrote "Standard C has better ways to [...]" and you extrapolate to "[...] but that their advocates are always self-assured how perfect they are." From that, we can deduce a strong inconsistency in your statement: "With begin/end, I gained that experience when I learned english as a language [...]". One day, it might be good to try to read what people do write, instead of what you want/assume them to write. Unfounded extrapolations does not help in a debate. "you never know" is a subjective (and provable wrong) argument masked as an objective statement. "they are badly designed" is a subjective argument masked as an objective statement. "their advocates are alayws [...]" is a subjective (and provable wrong) argument masked as an objective statement. Spending your time throwing flame baits is the same as disrespecting the original poster. |
