... to be able to do (timing) profiling, which, as he said, is a pain without a true ICE plus the appropriate software tools (which usually come with the true ICE).
As I said, *some* of the OCD (a.k.a. JTAG, low-cost ICE etc.) do support *some* tracing support; however, due to low cost, the software might lack some of the comfort the OP might be used to. JW |
